About me
Hi, I’m Nina Lutström, founder of Nordic Necessities and a specialist in Advanced Clinical & Sports Massage Therapy. I’m originally from Luleå in the far north of Sweden. I moved to the UK 19 years ago, and currently live in Farnborough, Hampshire, with my two children.
I have a background in the tourism and hospitality industry and I’ve always loved working with people. When I became a parent, it ignited a deeper awareness of holistic treatments and their positive effects on people. This, combined with my interest in health and well-being, is why I decided to follow my dream and take that life-changing step to become a professional massage therapist.
With a deep-rooted passion for anatomy, movement, and healing, I’ve spent years studying and refining techniques that go far beyond relaxation. I qualified in March 2014 and started Nordic Necessities shortly thereafter. Since then I’ve added more specialties, such as Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Chair/Seated Acupressure Massage and of course not to forget a Diploma in Advanced Clinical & Sports Massage - BTEC Level 6.
My work is focused on helping clients overcome pain, recover from injury, and achieve better function and performance - whether you are an athlete, a desk-based worker, or someone managing a long-term condition. Every treatment is tailored to the individual.
My business name reflects my Nordic roots and the necessities for one’s well-being. What is necessary for you to feel your best? A massage can do wonders for your quality of life, as massage isn’t just a luxury - it’s essential care! Let’s get your body working at its best.
I really love my job and feel blessed to work with something I feel so passionate about!
